Hydrotherapy
Each month, we show you a short film that’s moved us beyond the day – meaningful stories that inspire us to pause, think and feel.
Hydrotherapy, a film by Friction Collective, is a story of adaptation, strength and rewilding set in the raw and beautiful landscapes of Snowdonia National Park.
Laura has not only overcome a life-changing illness through wild swimming, but has also found a greater connection to the natural world. This has ignited her mission to make a stand for the natural environment, and protect wild waters and wild spaces across the UK.
“Swimming in nature strips back and simplifies the material world… it’s almost like rewilding yourself.”
Friction Collective’s newest film is Velo Iberia, the fourth in their ‘Velo’ bikepacking series. It sees a group of friends fly to Porto, Portugal and cycle the entire 2700km back home to Bristol, UK.
